The Challenge

Brereton C E Primary School wanted to update their lighting scheme throughout, to not only to fix old and dimming bulbs, but to help bring costs down as part of future proofing savings. The school had initially planned on using a lease agreement to spread the cost over 5 to 7 years, however, with the help of WN1 the school applied for a government grant.

  • Initial audit and site survey
  • Lighting scheme design
  • Procurement
  • Project delivery

The Solution

After the initial audit, WN1 created designs for the Brereton C E Primary School board to review, once the designs and commercial benefits had been outlined and agreed and the schools grant application had been accepted, WN1 swiftly carried out the work across the complex.

As with all schools, disruption has to be kept to a minimum and pupil safety is always primary. WN1 always approach project delivery with this in mind and are experienced in working within schools and educational environments. With this in mind WN1 recommended the work was completed within the half-term period as an opportunity to avoid disruption to the education of the pupils. Also worth mentioning the work was delivered within a 48hr period.

The work was completed over two days during half term with no disruption to school, delivered as quoted using quality fittings. Post-completion communication was excellent, ensuring we were completely happy.
