Manor Hall Academy Trust: 2,220 LED Fittings, 10 Sites, 5 Weeks

Published on
May 20, 2026

What We Delivered

  • 2,220 LED fittings across 10 sites
  • Emergency lighting upgraded to current standards
  • Day, night, and weekend installation phasing
  • Single project team across the full estate
  • Aftercare and warranty management contract

01

The Problem

Ten sites across the North West. Mixed fluorescent and halogen lighting, rising maintenance, rising electricity bill. The trust wanted to reduce the bill, hit sustainability reporting, and bring lighting up to current standards, without losing teaching time or raiding capital.

02

The Solution

Fitting-by-fitting replacement plan with saving model attached. Multi-site contract funded through a route aligned to the saving profile. Five weeks of day, night, and weekend installation, sequenced around the teaching calendar. Emergency lighting brought to current compliance in the same programme.

03

The Result

2,220 fittings converted. 125.07 tons of CO₂ reduced annually. Five-week installation. Ten sites phased to teaching weeks, weekends, and half-terms. Aftercare and warranty managed centrally so the saving on the bill keeps matching the saving on the model.

WN1 recently completed an outstanding LED lighting installation at Manor Hall Academy Trust. From the outset, they displayed impressive professionalism and commitment. Their account management team, led by Jon Leggott, stood out for their honesty, passion for energy savings, and willingness to go the extra mile
